LOBNA KHAIRY

Founder & CEO
LOBNA KHAIRY
An Egyptian researcher specializing in media policies, regulations, and gender issues. Although coming from a pharmaceutical and biotechnology background, Khairy has more than 14 years of experience in the media field where she worked as a freelance writer publishing over 250 articles in Egypt's prominent publications, Editor-in-chief of Egypt's first slang magazine Ladies 1st, and Managing Director of ADEKON e-publications. She earned her master's degree with honors in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo in 2017, through which she presented the first Gender-based Media Code that was adopted by the National Council for Women and co-authored the Children and Family Media Code, both of which are part of the national media policy of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation. Khairy is currently a Lecturer of Journalism and Mass Communication at AUC and MTI and a member of the Media Committee at the National Council for Women.

ANDALIB FAHMY

ANDALIB FAHMY
Assistant lecturer of Journalism at Ahram Canadian University and a freelancer for Al-Ahram and Al-Ahram weekly. She worked for more than 19 years in the field of development and voluntary services. In 2019, she was the head of volunteers' media committee in AFCON and AFCON U 23. Moreover, she participated in the organization of several national and international events held by Egypt including the Egyptian National Youth Forums, the opening of the New Suez Canal, the 50th anniversary of the Egyptian Parliament. She was the media consultant of the Euro Med youth unit in Egypt and she worked as a certified trainer and content developer for several international entities.
